Sisterhood Seal of Approval
Outfitter Endorsement Program
For the past eight years we have researched outfitters and created exceptional hunting opportunities for women hunters. Our Outfitter endorsement program The Sisterhood Outdoors Seal of Approval is another great service we offer our clients. Our past guest surveys indicate we are good at choosing outfitters who are supportive of women hunters and create a family like atmosphere. Over 60% of our guest are on their very first guided hunt away from home and 88% of them recommend or return to our chosen outfitters. Our outfitter seal of approval program ensures women hunters the kind of service they deserve. We spend time personally vetting each outfitter we hunt with. We want our guest to receive an exceptional hunting experience and great value for their money. We understand how overwhelming it can be to purchase your first guided hunt, so we ask all the questions for you. Our outfitters must go through a rigorous questionnaire and interview process and we personally visit and experience their services first hand before we ever make any recommendations. It is our goal to bring new and experienced hunters alike the world of guided outfitting with little stress about the value they will get for their money. We are committed to improving the outdoor experience for women hunters. Our Outfitters will experience a new market for women hunters as we are the fastest growing segment in the outdoor industry.

The Sisterhood of The Outdoors officially endorses Thunderstik Lodge, Chamberlain SD

Thunderstik Lodge receives the first official Sisterhood Outdoors Seal of Approval. What does that mean for you as a lady hunter? That means you can be sure you will be treated to the hunt of a lifetime with top notch service. Our endorsement program is a rigorous vetting process for outfitters we feel support lady hunters. We recently visited Thunderstik lodge to experience first hand the facility, guides, food, lodging, hunting and shooting opportunities they offer. Thunderstik lodge is in Chamberlain SD, a short two-hour drive from the Sioux Falls airport. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff and introduced to our guide. One thing we look for in our program is personal service. We want women hunters to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive, and Thunderstik Lodge did just that. Our guide immediately offered to take us to the Five Stand for some clay shooting before the sunset viewing at the main lodge. It was great to have a chance to warm up the shotguns before the next days hunt. The sunsets from the lodge are not to be missed. The lodge offers a full-service bar and restaurant with amazing food. Dinner is served as a plated meal in the dining room and your guide will accompany you to all your meals. Its great to have that time to get to know your guide and ask questions.
There is an atmosphere of support and personal service that makes it a great place for new hunters. The hunting was world class, dogs were on point and pheasants were falling out of the sky. We hunted hard all day and took our limit back to the lodge. Birds are breasted out and frozen for the trip home and they help you with taxidermy services. Thundestik Lodge has way more to offer than just pheasant hunting, they are equipped with clay shooting, long range rifle shooting, pistol ranges and offer walleye fishing trips. If there is an outdoor activity you would like to experience, they will do their best to make it happen. It’s not just a pheasant lodge its an outdoor playground. The Sisterhood Seal Approval plaque will be hanging in the lodge. Look for it when you book your amazing South Dakota outdoor adventure with Thunderstik. And rest assured you will be taken seriously as a lady hunter.
The Sisterhood of The Outdoors Endorses Bust-A-Duck Guide Service

You know you are doing something right when your customers rebook year after year. The Sisterhood Of The Outdoors (SOTO) has been booking hunts with Bust-A-Duck Guide Service for six straight years. Why do we keep coming back? Because we feel right at home with Buster Cooper and his staff of expert guides.
We are proud to announce that Bust-A-Duck is officially endorsed by SOTO. Buster Cooper, the proprietor, has spent a lifetime hunting the flooded fields and rivers of the Cache River area near Augusta, Arkansas. He has built a full-service lodge with the perfect set up for sleeping accommodations and storing your gear. The lodge is built facing the west for beautiful evening sunsets around the campfire ring. Inside, you will find bedrooms with plenty of space for sleeping and well-appointed storage hangers and space for your gear. The back of the lodge is built with a large locker room. Each guest gets a locker space and a place to hang waders. The back door from the lodge leads out of the locker room into the garage area where your guides will line up in the trucks and UTVs to take you on your morning hunting adventure. The lodge features a commercial kitchen and large, family-style dining area. Guest are served snacks, drinks and plated meals with amazing deserts by the Twisted Sisters Catering company. If you visit Bust-A-Duck, you will fall in love with the ladies of Twisted Sisters and we promise you won’t go hungry.
The guides are like family and spend time at the lodge with each group. The hunts are well planned, and each guide spends time answering questions and sharing details of the morning plans with the guest. You will be very prepared for any type of waterfowl hunting set up. Each day, hunts take place in the morning until noon. The afternoon time is spent relaxing around the lodge or scouting for ducks with the guides. The duck capital of Arkansas, Stuttgart, is a short drive down the road and you might enjoy a trip to the famous Mack’s Prairie Wings store to pick up gear or apparel.
The effort the guides put into finding the best location for hunting doesn’t go unnoticed. Buster and his team work hard to create the true Arkansas waterfowl experience. With more than 15,000 of private land holdings and 22 blinds, they offer some of the best field and timber hunting in the Mississippi Flyway.
Bust-A-Duck also offers goose hunts, afternoon quail hunts and skeet shooting. There is plenty to do to have a great time.
There is a reason we go back time and time again, and it’s because we are treated like family and we always feel like the team works hard to get us on the game. Bust-A-Duck Guide Service is officially endorsed by SOTO because they create a family-like atmosphere and work hard for our hunters to experience all that an Arkansas waterfowl hunt can be. You haven’t been on a good hunt until you’ve been on a B.A.D. hunt.
